Courts evade complaints of Leyla Yunus
Baku/16.05.14/Turan : Baku Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal on illegal search in the apartment of human rights activist Leyla Yunus. Simultaneously , Nasimi district court refused to consider the appeal on the illegal search of Yunus at Baku airport. Nasimi Court also refused to consider a complaint against the actions of investigators that have eliminated passport of the spouses Yunus, and forbade them from leaving the country . The Court referred to the fact that the trial court has no jurisdiction to examine such questions.
However , the lawyer Bagirov noted that complaints against illegal actions, are usually, accepted and considered the Baku serious Crimes Courts. Another lawsuit was filed against the Open JSC Unibank in connection with the refusal to issue Yunusov his money from the personal account . -06B –
