Realizing the importance of economic, political, national, ethnic, ideological, etc. conflicts, we still consider that the heart of all conflicts is religious confrontation, and is the root of growing threats to humanity, says the appeal of the founders of the Jerusalem club.
One of the approach to solving this problem is creating a forum for the free exchange of views by the representatives of various religions, philosophers, theologians, spiritual hierarchy of policies aimed at rapprochement, based on recognition of the common root of the Abrahamic religions - the principle of monotheism.
70% of the world refers to the three monotheistic religions called "Abrahamic".
The center of the world and civilization Jerusalem, or Yerushalayim (City of Peace in Hebrew), El - Quds (shrine in Arabic), a small dot on the globe, where lies the shortest route to the one God of the Jews, Christians and Muslims, called to be a symbol of spiritual unity of humanity, has become a territory of hostility, bloody acts of terrorism and war, and needs urgent protection.
The fault that each religion sees itself and only itself the main and the only correct one, as a result of which forgetfulness, and even falsification in favor of the policy of the great commandments of peace and harmony between human beings, competition in good works, which constitute the ethical nucleus of the three Abrahamic God-given books: Torah, Gospel and Quran.
The initial and principal place of discussions is Jerusalem, capital of Israel, the city of three religions, equal to Jews, Christians and Muslims.
