Baku/08.07.21/Turan: On July 7, at about 18:30, police officers of the Yardimli region (250 km south of Baku) detained a member of the D18 Movement Jalil Zabidov, the message of the organization. His fate is still unclear, the message reads. The Movement believes that Zabidov was detained for his critical publications and participation in the campaign in social networks under the hashtag “I protest”.
In turn, the Yardimli district police department reported that not any man named Jalil Zabidov was brought to the district department, and the reports of threats to his relatives do not correspond to reality. — 03B06-
