The task of the police is to ensure the safety of participants and guests who arrived in the country of tourists, ensuring public order and free movement of citizens, Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov said at a meeting.
Since June 6, the main avenues along which the races will be held, as well as the streets adjacent to them, have been blocked in the center of Baku. They will remain closed until the 13th.
The police urges drivers not to enter the central streets until June 13 and use public transport. It should be noted that such restrictions traditionally create serious problems and inconveniences in the capital with a population of 2.5 million people.
