Detained Head of Bakupress.az Website Accused of Drug Business
Baku / 07.05.19 / Turan: The owner of the Bakupress website, Shafag Agadjan, is accused of the drug business; on May 3, she was arrested for 3 months by the decision of the Khatai court of Baku. According to the relatives, the trial was closed.
The police claim that the woman was detained in front of City Hospital No. 5 at the time of the sale of 311 grams of marijuana, packaged in 62 packages.
An attempt to contact the arrested by the lawyer did not produce results.
Human rights activist Oktay Gyulaliyev, in turn, told Turan that the detainee claims that she was investigating the facts of the illegal sale of psychotropic drugs by pharmacies. On this topic, she published a number of video materials in social networks.
