Detained students were released (UPDATED)
Baku/04.05.21/Turan: Student activists detained on May 3 during a protest in front of the Azerbaijan State Economic University (ASUE) were released three hours later.
This was announced by Ahmed Mammadli, a board member of the "Student Power Center".
He said that during the arrest he was subjected to physical and mental pressure.
According to him, the detainees were taken to the Main Police Department of Baku.
“There was no pressure in the department. They took an explanatory note from us and let them go, ”he said.

Students' action in front of the Azerbaijan State Economic University
Baku/03.05.21/Turan: Today, members of the "Student Power Center" organization tried to hold a protest in front of the building of the Azerbaijan State Economic University (ASEU).
They had a poster "Justice for Students" chanting the same slogan.
According to the protesters, teachers threaten students protesting against the rules for conducting exams.
“Students are not given exam questions in advance, which creates difficulties. In addition, we demand to cancel the limit on skipping classes conducted online,” the protesters said about the purpose of the action.
All participants - Ravan Ahundov, Ahmed Mammadli, Farid Jabbar, Tyukezban Gasimova and activist Rustam Ismailbeyli were detained by the police.
The protesters were removed from the territory, but there were no detainees, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Turan agency. — 06D-
