Disabled People Protest in Front of Presidential Administration
Baku / 05/01/19 / Turan: On Wednesday morning, a group of people with visual disabilities held a protest action in front of the Presidential Administration.
The participants chanted "Receive Us!" demanding to listen to their problems.
According to the protesters, since February 1, the first group of disabled people was raised a pension by 50 manat. To receive this money, they have to open a new card.
"We need a lot of references and we need to get around a lot of organizations.
We demand to eliminate this bureaucracy so that the money is transferred to the card we already have," one of the protesters said.
Despite the fact that people with disabilities stood in the square in front of the Presidential Administration"s reception room, no one received them. There were no incidents. -0-
