Double diploma program approved in Azerbaijan
Baku / 19.11.18 / Turan: An international double degree program will be applied in a number of universities of Azerbaijan. This is stipulated by the state program to improve the competitiveness of the higher education system in Azerbaijan for 2019-2023. The program was approved by the presidential decree on November 16 and published in the press.
The use of international double degree programs means that studying in universities of Azerbaijan in a number of priority specialties will correspond to leading international programs.
At the initial stage, it is planned to establish five international programs in cooperation with leading foreign universities and attract foreign teachers to work in universities in Azerbaijan, as well as Azerbaijani specialists working abroad. -02D-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
