A film about the soldiers who were first on the path of the Red Army
Baku/19.11.19/Turan: "Soldiers die when they are forgotten" is the name of the documentary, the presentation of which will take place on November 20 at 17 o'clock in the cinema center Nizami.
The film is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the People"s Republic of Azerbaijan and tells of the events of April 1920, when a small military garrison of 350 people in the border town of Yalama stood in the way of the 70 thousandth Red Army contingent and died after a two-hour unequal battle.
The film was shot by the creative association "Aranfilm" in Yalama, Baku, Tbilisi, Ankara and Moscow. Scriptwriter is journalist Arif Aliyev, production director - Rovshan Almuradly, camera director - Rafik Aliyev.
The music for the film was written by Vagif Gerayzade, the words of the songs are taken from the last letters of the dead soldiers. -02B-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
