Downpours and hail in regions washed roads away and caused mudslides
Last weekend, intense rains in the mountainous and foothill regions of the country once again caused road washouts, flooding of houses and mudslides.
According to the materials of social networks users, Gedabey, Oguz, Gabala, Ismailli, Guba and Agdash regions suffered most severely.
Mudflows have washed away river mouths and demolished bridges. Landslides occurred on mountain roads and a number of settlements (Laza and Lagich) were blocked.
Mudflows also severely damaged farmland and economic facilities.
A selection of video footage from different regions of the country shows the rampant natural disasters of the last 2-3 days.
