Aslan İsmayılov
Baku/31.07.18/Turan: The Sabail District Court today decided to punish the well-known lawyer Aslan Ismayilov, having found him guilty under Article 147.2 (libel for committing a serious crime) of the Criminal Code. Thus, the court partially satisfied the claim of Murvaty Hasanov, the owner of the "Khamsa" Celebration House. Aslan Ismayilov acted as legal representative of the head of the Turkish company "Emre Piliç - Qida Sanyaye Ticaret Limited" Omur Oral in his lawsuit against Murvat Hasanov. The latter claimed that the lawyer named him on his Facebook page as a "swindler".
Sabail court sentenced Ismayilov to 1.5 years of correctional labor. During this time, 15% of Ismayilov's revenues will be held in favor of the state. In addition, Ismayilov was fined 1,500 manats.-05B-
