Fashion Show for Persons with Disabilities will be Hosted in Azerbaijan for the First Time
Baku/05.06.21/Turan: For the first time in our region, there will be a presentation of adaptive clothing for persons with disabilities, organized by Kekalove Adaptive with support from the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, hosted at the Fairmont Hotel Baku. This event will showcase adaptive clothing designs prepared for the specific needs of persons with disabilities. After the show, a panel discussions will highlight the problems persons with disabilities face in Azerbaijan and strengthen the dialogue around these issues. John Hussey, Political Officer from the U.S. Embassy will give remarks during this event.
The online fashion show will take place on June 6th at 10:30 am at Fairmont Hotel Baku, Flame Towers. Media representatives are kindly asked to be present at the event. Because of the special quarantine regime, the fashion show will be broadcast live on Facebook on June 12th at 6 pm.
Kekalove Adaptive has been operating since 2019. The goal of this social business is to produce comfortable and fashionable clothing for persons with disabilities. Kekalove Adaptive is the grand champion of the international business competition Creative Spark Big Idea challenge and 2020 Yunus&Youth fellow.
