Fifteen religious communities registered
Baku / 09.04.18 / Turan: Another 15 religious communities have been registration, and their total number in the country reached 808, reported the
State Committee for Work with Religious Structures (SCWRS), on 9 April 15 communities were presented with registration certificates. Three of them are not Islamic communities.
The process of re-registering communities began in 2009. Of the 808 registered communities in Azerbaijan today, 777 are Islamic, 31 are non-Islamic, including 20 Christian, 8 are Jewish, 1 is Krishna, 2 is Baha'ite. -05D06-
