Fifty thousand of cattle will be put for sale in connection with the Gurban Bayram
Baku/20.08.18/Turan: On the occasion of the religious holiday Gurban Bayramy, on August 21, fairs for the sale of small and large cattle will be organized in Baku and regions for three days in order to sacrifice, reported the Ministry of Agriculture. At fairs, which are created in places identified by the Food Safety Agency, it is planned to put up for sale 35 thousand head of cattle.
Sales will be organized in 32 locations - Baku, Ganja, Neftchala, Lankaran, Sheki, Shirvan, Guba, Agdash, Shamakhy, Goychay, Ismayilli. In order to saturate the market and stabilize prices, a small number of small cattle have been imported from neighboring countries. In addition, 13,000 cattle will be supplied to the fairs by farmers. Along with this, from the farms subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture, 1000-1500 heads of small and large cattle will be brought to the fairs for sale.
Gurban Bayramy this year in Azerbaijan is celebrated on August 22-23 and these days are declared holiday non-working. -05D06-
