Fire in Hostel Where IDPs Accommodated
Baku / 10.09.19 / Turan: On April 10 in the morning, a fire broke out on Babek Avenue in a building located on the balance sheet of the Azersutikinti Trust Hospital.
According to the Ministry of Health, 5 people were injured in the fire. One of them rushed from the third floor, escaping from the fire and was hospitalized with various injuries.
The internally displaced people living in the building attacked the head of the State Committee for IDPs Rovshan Rzayev, demanding that he provide them with good housing.
One of the residents of the building stated that the first ignition occurred on the evening of April 9, and the arriving firefighters stated that it was a deliberate arson. However, today the roof of the building again caught fire.
The head of the State Committee said that the examination will determine the cause of the fire and after that all other issues will be solved.
According to him, arson was set up in a hostel in the Narimanov district of the capital and two people died there.
42 thousand IDP families live in the capital and it is impossible to allocate new housing for all of them. "Be patient," Rzayev said. -02 / 16B-
