Baku/18.08.21/Turan: On August 18, a fire started again in the mountainous area of the Aksu region. The fire covered shrubs and trees on an area of 4 hectares near the village of Hajman. The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense are involved in extinguishing the fire.
A day earlier, a fire in mountain forests in Aksu region was extinguished; it lasted for two days. Today, a fire was extinguished in a mountain forest in the Oguz region, which covered 1 hectare of territory. -02D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
