Five-ton installation of "Azercell" forced downed
Baku / 07/31/17 / Turan: A five-ton mobile structure belonging to Azercell Telecom LLC, installed above the railway station, built in 1926 and protected by the state, was forced down, reported the press service of the Public Association "Let's preserve the cultural heritage and historical monuments" "Gyasr". The report noted that by the decision of the Cabinet of 02.08.2001 the building of the railway station was taken under state protection. Along with this, the judgment of April 28, 2016 was not performed for a long period by Azercell Telecom LLC. Under various pretexts, this company shied away from implementing the solution for a long time.
Finally, on July 28-29, a container weighing more than two tons and a mobile antenna weighing more than 3 tons of "Azercell Telekom" were dismantled. This was done on the basis of the Yasamal department's decision to implement decisions. The dismantling was carried out by the company "NETFRAME". During the dismantling, representatives of the Public Association "Gyasr" and the official for the implementation of the decision participated. -03D04-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
