Food Safety Agency on Dangers of Importation of Cattle from Russian Federation
Baku / 03.09.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency (AFSA) has warned the population of the country to refrain from importing animals from Russia in connection with the threat of disease.
"The World Organization for Animal Health has identified nodular dermatitis in cattle in the Samara, Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions of Russia.
In addition, cases of infection of small cattle in the Shakhovskoye district of the Moscow region with foot and mouth disease have been identified.
In this regard, individuals and legal entities importing large and small cattle from the Russian Federation, when importing animals, should take into account the relevant requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health," AFSA said.
It is also prescribed to carry out the disinfection of transport coming from these regions of the Russian Federation. -03D-
