For the first time since the start of the pandemic, no COVID-19 infections have been detected in Azerbaijan
Baku/ 16.05.22 / Turan: No cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan over the past day. At the same time, five people have recovered, no deaths from COVID-19 have been identified, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on May 16.
To date, 792,673 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, of which 782,917 people have recovered and 9,709 have died. At present, the number of active patients is 47 people.
Over the past day, 1,966 tests for the detection of COVID-19 have been carried out in the country.
It should be noted that for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, no cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan in a day.—06B-
