Baku / 27.04.18 / Turan: The Grand Prix Azerbaijan car race started in the Formula -1 competitions today.
According to the operating company Baku City Ring, 20 pilots from 10 teams will lead the fight for the championship on a 6-kilometer ring track.
Among the participants are the best racers in the world: Luis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Valterry Bottas and others.
From the stands established along the route the race can be watched by 30 thousand spectators. The start and finish will be on Azadlig Square.
Today is the day of free riders' races Formula-1 and Formula-2.
April 28 will qualify, and the final race will take place on Sunday.
The stages of the Grand Prix Formula -1 have been held in Baku since 2016.
The current race is the third in the capital of Azerbaijan. These races will be held in Baku at least two more times - in 2019 and 2020. --0--
