Fuad Gahramanli arrested for 30, not 10 days (UPDATED)
Baku / 01.11.19 / Turan: An activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) was arrested for 30, and not for 10 days, as previously reported, reported the adviser to the head of the Popular Front Party, Mamed Ibrahim.
“Yesterday, the brother of Fuad Gahramanli called from the court, saying that he was arrested for 10 days. However, today Fuad himself called from the Binagadi detention center, saying that he was arrested for 30 days,” Ibrahim said.
The Narimanov District Court found Gahramanli guilty under the Article 510 (petty hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
PFPA believes that the arrest is related to the opposition rally scheduled for November 2, which was postponed the night before. –06D-
