Ganja residents complain about the forced demolition of houses
On 10 August a group of Ganja residents August 10 came to the presidential administration of Azerbaijan complaining about the forced eviction from their homes on the coast Ganjachay. They say that the local authorities under the pretext of construction of the park intend to demolish 110 houses. Residents offered compensation at the rate of 300 manats per 1 sq. meters, or offer to temporarily rent a house and to provide them with new apartments, "when there is an opportunity," Turan correspondent was told by one of the complainants. According to him, 12 houses have already been demolished, the same fate awaits other buildings.
