Government agencies are obliged to publish financial statements
Baku / 28.11.18 / Turan: From now on, state bodies and other structures associated with them will be required to publish on their websites until April 30 of next yearthe reports on the use of state budget funds and property entrusted to them. This is provided for by budgetary organizations, legal entities of public law, business entities, 30 or more percent of shares owned by the state, approved on November 27 by the Rules of Disclosure of Reports on the Use of State Budget Funds and Entrusted Property.
Access to the sites should be free.
For violation of this requirement, monetary penalties have been established in the amounts from 100-150 manat for individuals, 500-700 manat for officials, 500-2500 manat for legal entities.
For not providing an answer to journalistic inquiries, a fine was determined in the amount of 200-300 manat.
The innovations were approved in connection with the adoption by the Parliament in June of this year of amendments to the Article 30.1 of the Law "On Obtaining Information". -05D06--
