Graduates from Tafakkur University demand diplomas
Baku/29.07.21/Turan: A group of graduates from the Tafakkur University which has been deprived of the state license, held a protest rally in front of the Ministry of Education on Thursday.
They said that for two years they could not get graduation diplomas after graduation in 2020.
Despite the tuition fee of 1,900 manats, they failed to get diplomas.
The young people said that they were sent from this university to the Odlar Yurdu University. However, they were told there that they would have to pay for a 4-year education again following which they would be allowed to study. However, the graduates refused, for they were not going to study for another 4 years.
The young people said that they received no response to their appeals. The Ministry of Education did not accept them, and the police pushed them away from the building.
On October 11, 2017, the Tafakkur University Scientific and Educational Center addressed the Ministry of Education with a notification about the suspension of the university's activities by the decision of the Founders ' Council due to financial problems. - 06B-
