Gurban Bayram festive prayers will be held on August 12
Baku/06.08.19/Turan: A festive prayer on the Qurban Bayram will be held in the Baku mosques on August 12. At 08:00 - at the Ajdarbey Mosque, at 09:00 - at the Tazapir, the Caucasus Muslims Office told Turan. Namaz will be performed in all other mosques of the country.
This year, Gurban Bayram in Azerbaijan is celebrated on August 12 and 13. These days are considered holidays, not working.
Since August 10-11 fall on Saturday and Sunday, 4 days in a row will be non-workers in Azerbaijan.
The Qurban Bayram is a festival of sacrifice (Eid al-Adha) and marks the end of the pilgrimage of the Hajj. - 21C-
