Over six years 342 people died in a traffic accident
Baku/07.08.19/Turan: In January-June 2019, 342 people died in road accidents in Azerbaijan, the State Statistics Committee reports.
In total, 833 accidents were registered during this period, which is 2% more than for the same period last year. The total number of victims increased by 1.2%, amounting to 1087 people.
At the same time, 342 people were killed, 745 were injured.
89.7% of accidents were recorded in settlements; 81% of the dead and 73.4% of the victims are men.
Four people died because of driving drunk drivers, another nine were injured. -06D-

On Sunday, partly cloudy weather is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula. From the afternoon of May 12 to the 13th, the northwesterly wind speed is expected to increase to 15-18 m/s, in some places to 20-23 m/s, as well as precipitation, thunderstorms in some places.
