Ibrahim Mammadov Dismissed from Post of Deputy Chairman of AzTV
By the order of the Head of State, Ibrahim Mammadov has been dismissed from the post of Deputy Chairman of the state television AzTV. The reasons for the dismissal are not specified.
Mammadov has been in this position since 10 February 2012. Before that, he worked as Chief Editor of the socio-political programs edition on AzTV.
For the past month, there has been media speculation about the dismissal of Mammadov and all of his employees on the Editorial Board, which are no longer allowed into the AzTV building.
In recent days, the state of Mammadov’s health deteriorated and he was taken to Turkey, where he is being treated.
Note that Mammadov was one of the most active agitators for official Baku. Notably, he began a career in journalism in the opposition newspaper Azadlyg and he was an activist of the Popular Front Party. Then he joined the TV channel ANS, and after the dismissal from there, he was received by AzTV. -05D04-

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
