Baku/19.11.19/Turan: Prime Minister Ali Asadov dismissed Ayaz Mirzoyev from the post of head of the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
He appointed Ibrahim Mammadov to this post. At one time, he was an employee of the opposition newspaper Azadlig, but then changed his political views, becoming an ardent propagandist of the authorities, rising to the deputy head of AZTV.
He was subsequently dismissed for no apparent reason. In recent years, he worked for the private television channel ARB. — 06D-

On January 29, municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan, with over 16,000 candidates participating across 118 constituencies. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has already announced the names of the leading candidates on its website. Hours after the election, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov stated at a briefing that 413 out of 685 municipalities had already been formed, with 7,791 candidates identified as leaders.
