In 2015, the loss amounted to 64 Azerbaijani Armed Forces servicemen
Over 10 months of 2015 losses of defense and security sector of Azerbaijan totaled 64 people, reported based in Germany Caspian Institute of Military Studies for monitoring the media and social networks. According to the same source, 31 losses - fighting: 28 people were killed by the shelling of the Armenians, 3 - stepped on mines. Thirty three people died or were killed in non-combat conditions: 8 people committed suicide, 8 died of hazing (shot each other), 5 - were killed in car accidents, 3 - inadvertently, 2 - under the avalanche, 2 - from sunstroke, 1 - for reasons unknown, 4 - from diseases.
Fifty seven dead - the Defense Ministry servicemen, 3 - Frontier 2 – Ministry of Emergency Situations, 2 MNS. Another 17 military personnel during the reporting period were wounded or injured; including 11 people from the Armenian bullets, one of the mine explosion, etc. Caspian Institute of Military Studies does not exclude that the number of actual losses is higher. -03D-
