Musavat, REAL, and NIDA demand re-election
"Musavat" party, the Civic Movement "REAL" and "NIDA" demand the cancellation of the parliamentary elections on November 1 and a re-election, stated in a joint statement of these structures. The paper put forward the following demands:
- release of political prisoners;
- create normal conditions for fair and free elections;
- change the principle of formation of electoral commissions under full control of the authorities;
- ensure equal opportunities for conducting the campaign to provide free air time for public debate.
All three structures do not recognize the results of elections held in unopposed conditions and against a background of repression. Therefore, they need to eliminate the results of the elections on November 1, implementation of the necessary reforms in the legislation and carrying out re-election in 2016. -03D04-
