Baku/29.10.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,132 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1,757 patients have recovered, 26 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 29.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 526,920 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 490,789 people recovered, 7,021 have died, treatment of 29,110 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 11,753 tests were carried out in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection.
Also, in the last 24 hours, 49,044 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 35,556, with the second - 13,488 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 9,567,956, of which 5,190,492 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,377,464 people received two doses.-0-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
