Baku/02.02.23/Turan: In January 2023, 33 violators of the Azerbaijani border were detained. Of these, 19 were citizens of Azerbaijan, 8 – Pakistan, 2 – Egypt, 2 – Iran, 1 – Nigeria and 1 – Georgia.
This is stated in the message of the border guard service.16 people were detained for illegal migration. Also, 247 wanted persons were also detained.
At that, 154 kg 700 grams of drugs and 9490 psychotropic pills were withdrawn from illicit trafficking. The smuggling of goods worth 1 million 790.000 manats was stopped. -05D06-

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the regulation on the allocation of funds collected from traffic fines, initially established in 1999.
