Baku/24.11.21/Turan: In January-October 2021, 42% of road accidents in Azerbaijan were pedestrian collisions. In the city of Baku, this figure was 57%, the message of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In this regard, the department urged pedestrians to cross the streets only in the proper place and use underground and overground crossings. In turn, drivers are advised to be careful, since along with the drivers, there are also pedestrians who use the crossings. The majority of pedestrian collisions take place outside the designated crossings, the press release noted. -03D06-
