Baku/03.10.23/Turan: In September, 149 people turned to the toxicology department of the Baku City Clinical Medical Center (CMC) with signs of poisoning, the head of the department Azer Magsudov told Turan. In particular, 63 men, 63 women and 23 children came to the clinic with complaints of poisoning.
Among them, 68 people were poisoned with medicines, 36 with acetic acid, 12 with mushrooms, 7 with ethanol. Two patients were admitted with allergies, 6 - signs of botulism, 14 - complaints of snake bites. Despite the efforts of doctors, four people - 2 men and 2 women died from acetic acid poisoning. ---03B---
