In September, border guards seized 46 kg of drugs
Baku/02.10.23/Turan: In September, Azerbaijani border guards seized 46 kg 193 g of narcotic drugs and 307 units of narcotic pills from illegal trafficking, the message of the State Border Service (SBS) on measures to combat smuggling, illegal migration, illegal drug trafficking carried out last month.
In September, 52 violators of the state border were detained. Of these, 18 are citizens of Azerbaijan, 5 - Sri Lanka, 5 - Pakistan, 4 - Afghanistan, 4 - Nepal, 3 - Iran, 3 - Egypt, 2 - Nepal, 2 - India, 1 - Morocco, 1 - Algeria, 1 - Bangladesh, 1 - Nigeria and 2 - Sudan. 27 people were detained for attempting to cross the state border with false documents.
912 people were detained for violating the rules of the border regime, and appropriate measures were taken against them.
