In the post-war period, 929 veterans have been provided with 6, 200 rehabilitation funds
Baku/02.07.21/Turan: In the post-war period, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population provided 929 war disabled with 6,200 rehabilitation funds as a part of social support measures.
At the same time, 82 servicemen who had their lower limbs amputated were provided with 83 high-tech prostheses. Also, work has begun to provide veterans with high-tech prostheses with amputated upper limbs.
Since March this year, people with disabilities have been provided with wheelchairs.
500 disabled people have already been provided with motorcycle wheelchairs.
In the post-war period, about 1,300 veterans and members of martyr families were provided with socio-psychological and rehabilitation services in the rehabilitation centers of the Ministry. They were involved in psychological sessions of clinical and social psychologists, both visually and online, in groups and individually.
Currently, the process of providing these services is underway. -0-
