In Volgograd, declared three days of mourning for the victims of terrorist attacks
Investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation established after questioning 50 witnesses that Naiad Asiyalova suicide bomber blew herself up on a bus in Volgograd, when going to Moscow, said RG.RU.
"It is established that Asiyalova arrived in Volgograd from Makhachkala on a bus bound for Moscow. According to an unknown reason she got off the bus in the area of the Volgograd Academy of the Interior Ministry about an hour before the terrorist attack," the investigation said in a statement.
A team of investigators has arrived in Dagestan and visited the native village of Asiyalova Gunib in the Gunib region, where they took blood from the mother of the terrorist for DNA analysis. For further investigative steps mother and two sisters of the bomber were brought to Makhachkala. Officially security officials hide their whereabouts.
The passenger bus, which had dozens of passengers, exploded in Volgograd. Five people were killed and 32 wounded. The investigation qualified the incident as a terrorist attack.
The tragedy occurred in the area Krasnoarmeisky on October 21 at 14:05, according to VDV-Volgograd.
The law husband of the bomber Naiad Asiyalova Dmitry Sokolov is a specialist in explosives. This was reported by a law enforcement source in Dagestan.
They were both on the federal wanted list. The "Black Widow" was known as an active recruiter of supporters of Wahhabism. With Dmitry Sokolov she met in Moscow, after which they drove off together to Dagestan. It is possible that Sokolov prepared the martyrdom belt for Naiad Asiyalova.
In this case, the relatives of Sokolov have been looking for him since his departure from Moscow in July 2012. Volunteers of the organization Lisa Alert were engaged in the search. This information was confirmed in the organization, but they refused to disclose any data. "The search did not give results and the missing man, unfortunately, was not found" say the official comments of the search party on their website.

The closure of Azerbaijan's land borders was discussed during the parliamentary session on November 25. While the government’s decision cites the coronavirus pandemic as the main reason—despite the World Health Organization declaring its end last year—Zahid Oruj, Chair of the Human Rights Committee in the Milli Majlis, pointed to other factors. He stated, "Opening the borders could result in an influx of hundreds of thousands of non-Azerbaijani refugees due to the Russia-Ukraine war. Additionally, in Iran, many are prepared to cross into Azerbaijan to safeguard their lives and assets amid military strikes. Such waves of refugees could lead to humanitarian, social, and cultural clashes that may threaten political stability."
