Baku/19.05.22/Turan: On May 16, Iranian border guards shot dead a border violator, who turned out to be Azerbaijani citizen Mirjavad Musayev.
He was killed when attempting to illegally cross the border from Iran into Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Border Guard Service reported.
Musayev's body was handed over to the Azerbaijani side on May 18. A request for details of the incident has been sent to the Iranian side.-03D-
