Iranian Detained for Smuggling 25 Kg of Drugs
Baku / 14.11.19 / Turan: Border guards found a bag with almost 25 kg of various drugs near the village of Sim in the Astara region, the press service of the State Border Service of the country said today.
13 kg of heroin, over 1.5 kg of methamphetamine, about 10 kg of opium and 1,500 tablets of Methadone-40 were seized from the bag.
During the operational search measures, Iranian citizen Azimi Ahmed Amanullah (1982), who brought these drugs to Azerbaijan, was detained. The investigation is underway. -02D-
