Ismayilly police investigate attack on journalist
The Ismayilly police are investigating the attack on the reporter for the Azerbaijani Service of Radio Liberty, Elchin Ismayil, the journalist told Turan.
May 26 he was attacked in the village Buynuz, where he conducted an investigation of the complaint of the villagers about the local restaurants that deprived the villagers of water supply. According to Ismail, the attackers broke his nose and broke his camera.
The police took the journalist’s complaint and took evidence from the restaurant’s owner and his son, promising to convey the results of the investigation to the prosecutor.
