Judge accused of murdering wife will face trial
Baku/03.08.21/Turan: The preliminary investigation in the criminal case of the former judge Fagan Ahmedov, accused of murdering his wife, has been completed.
On May 30, 2021, during a quarrel at his dacha in the village of Nardaran, Ahmedov shot his wife with a hunting rifle, according to investigation. At that time, Ahmedov served as a judge of the Sabunchu District Court.
Ahmedov was charged under the Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a measure of restraint was chosen against him in the form of arrest, according to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. The criminal case was sent to the Baku Serious Crimes Court for consideration. –16D06-
