But I can't imagine what I will do next with a Russian internal passport? And why do I need it. I want to go home to Azerbaijan," he said.

Russian citizenship is just an accident because of the situation in which the child found himself because of his parents. It was difficult for us, his family, no matter how hard we tried, to issue documents for him due to the lack of many data about him that were in Russia. For example, the court decision on the genetic examination and the establishment of paternity of my brother over Khayal," she said.

She intends to apply to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia with a request that its staff help Khayal return to Azerbaijan. "Our Constitution says that a child can choose the citizenship of the country of which one of his parents is a citizen. His father is Azerbaijani. He had never known his mother, and she did not want to know him. He doesn't actually have a mother. What is his connection with Russia? Nothing!" said Aunt Hayala.
