Khayal Vasilyev

Azerbaijani Khayal Vasilyev accused the Migration Service of Azerbaijan of deception; of sending him to Russia, where he has no documents, no home, no relatives, no money. He had all this in Azerbaijan, in Sumgayit, where he lived for 10 years after his relatives returned him from Russia at the age of ten, where the boy lived in an orphanage. Moreover, Khayal Vasilyev, who was deported from Azerbaijan, complained that the staff of the migration service of Azerbaijan sent him to Russia without clothes, and now he has nothing to wear in a cold country.

Khayal Vasilyev told the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" that he was very offended by the Azerbaijanis who expelled him from the country, actually deceiving him and taking advantage of the fact that he could not read and write. "I am outraged and offended. I have relatives in Azerbaijan who love me like my aunt. I have a place to live in my grandparents' house. I had a job that fed me. I don't have anything right now. I do not know how much the help of human rights defenders, to whom I am grateful, will be enough. I am grateful for this help. But I can't imagine what I will do next with a Russian internal passport? And why do I need it. I want to go home to Azerbaijan," he said.

Turan told about the story of an orphan born in Russia from an Azerbaijani father and a Russian mother in the article "Russians turned out to be more humane than Khayal's relatives and the leadership of the Migration Service of Azerbasijan"

At the end of December, the MSA deported Russian citizen Khayal Vasilyev Elshadovich, born in 2003, from Azerbaijan. The police detained Vasilyev, transferred him to a temporary detention facility of the Migration Service of Azerbaijan, and the MSA deported the Azerbaijani from the country without the right to return for five years.

Vasilyev's aunt Natavan Agayeva said that the boy's father was her brother. After the death of Vasilyev's grandparents - her parents -she took care of him. "The boy's father left Azerbaijan with a USSR passport in the 90s. With the collapse of the USSR, he was detained in Russia for lack of documents and permission to stay in Russia. There is no connection with him. He has not returned since. As we know, he is in prison for a serious crime. No one wants to understand that Khayal is an ethnic Azerbaijani born in the territory of the Russian Federation. Why should he live in a foreign country? Russian citizenship is just an accident because of the situation in which the child found himself because of his parents. It was difficult for us, his family, no matter how hard we tried, to issue documents for him due to the lack of many data about him that were in Russia. For example, the court decision on the genetic examination and the establishment of paternity of my brother over Khayal," she said.

She intends to apply to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia with a request that its staff help Khayal return to Azerbaijan. "Our Constitution says that a child can choose the citizenship of the country of which one of his parents is a citizen. His father is Azerbaijani. He had never known his mother, and she did not want to know him. He doesn't actually have a mother. What is his connection with Russia? Nothing!" said Aunt Hayala.

Now she is collecting documents confirming that Khayal lived in Azerbaijan for ten years out of 20 years of his life, and before that he lived with his father for five years and in an orphanage in Russia for five years, the "Caucasian Knot" reported.-
