Lawsuit on the fact of interference with the privacy of the daughter of Jamil Hasanli
Baku/30.04.21/Turan: A lawsuit has been filed on the fact of interference in the personal life of the daughter of the chair of the National Council of Democratic Forces Jamil Hasanli - Gunel Hasanli.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 242 of the Criminal Code (illegal distribution of pornographic materials), said the lawyer Zibeyda Sadigova.
According to her, the criminal case is being conducted by the Main Police Department of Baku. “However, it is not yet clear whether she has been recognized as a victim in connection with the interference with her privacy and whether there are those involved as perpetrators,” the lawyer said.
In turn, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ehsan Zahidov, confirmed the information about the initiation of a lawsuit under the Article 242 of the Criminal Code.
“Investigative actions have established the identity of a man whose face is covered in video footage circulated in social networks. Testimony was taken from him. Currently, investigative actions are underway to identify the persons who disseminated the video,” he said.
However, as noted by lawyers, the qualification of the case as "distribution of pornography" is incorrect; it is a gross interference with privacy, which implies a completely different crime.
The hidden camera video was released on March 28. The head of the National Council Jamil Hasanli regarded this as "a political order and a provocation of the special services"
The Article 242 of the Criminal Code provides for a fine from 2,000 to 4,000 manats, or correctional labor for up to 2 years or imprisonment for up to 3 years.-03B06--
