The human rights activist Leyla Yunus appealed to the public and reported on the continuation of pressure on her by law enforcement agencies.
"Today, May 30 after 15.00 the police may be attacking my apartment on 125 N. Narimanov Avenue (former Soviet Street) to arrest me. I always helped you when they violated your rights, when your houses were broken and when they did violence to you. Now I ask you just to come out to Soviet Street and cheer this police," she said in her address to the Baku residents.
Yesterday the Prosecutor General investigator Lemberansky called Yunus for questioning in the case of investigating the activities of a number of NGOs, but she refused to go, demanding the return of the passports of her and her husband, illegally picked a month ago.
