Baku / 1/16/19 / Turan: By decree of the head of state dated January 15, the country's library system has been eliminated, and in its place a new "progressive" library system will be created. To this end, a commission headed by the head of the department of the Presidential Administration on humanitarian issues, as well as the Minister of Culture and Deputy Ministers of Finance and Education, is being created within the Ministry of Culture. The commission also includes the Mayor of Baku, deputy chiefs of the departments of the Presidential Administration for socio-political issues and organizational and territorial issues,
The commission is charged to prepare proposals on reorganization of the library system in the country for 6 months and optimization of the activities of state museums and music schools at the Ministry of Culture.
Within three months, the Ministry of Culture is entrusted with preparing proposals on improving the activities of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
