Losses in the defense sector reach 15 people
This year, the losses in the defense and security of the country reached a total of fifteen people dead and nine injured. This is stated in the message from the center of military research journalism ‘Doctrine’.
Only two soldiers were killed in the line of duty from Armenian bullets, the other 13 were killed in non-combat conditions.
Three soldiers died because of accidents, one in a car accident, three in a helicopter, as well as negligence, illness and as a result of suicide.
Thirteen of the dead were the Defense Ministry soldiers, one was from the Internal Troops, and one was from MOE.
As for the wounded, three were injured by hazing, two - in a fight, one was wounded on the front line, one was blown up by a mine, one was injured in a traffic accident and one suffered from another accident.
Eight of the wounded are from the Ministry of Defense and one is from the Border Guard Service. -03D-
