Baku/19.07.22/Turan: 58 people from Yeni Chelebikhan settlement, where internally displaced persons have been placed, complained of vomiting, diarrhea and fever to the ambulance department of Sheki central regional hospital of Azerbaijan.

The hospital told Turan that the patients were diagnosed with gastroenteritis of infectious origin.

All those admitted with this diagnosis were released home for further outpatient treatment after the initial care was provided.

In turn, the regional group of the Interior Ministry press service of Turan specified that the mass appeal to the hospital from the village of Yeni Chelebikhan began at 9 p.m. on July 18.

Total 58 people were taken to the hospital, including 41 minors and 17 adults.

"They complained of vomiting, diarrhea and fever. They were diagnosed with an infection - gastroenteritis and given primary care, after which all were released," said the regional group of the press service of the Interior Ministry.

Since there have been no mass weddings or commemorations in the village in recent days, the water flowing into the village could become a source of infection.

Water samples were taken and an investigation is underway.  06В
