The development of industrial districts in the country, the import of wheat, the flooding of the village of Alatava, and the versions of the MIG-29 jet crash are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the development of industrial districts, technology parks, small and medium enterprises. In the 9 parks and neighborhoods created in the regions, 78 residents were registered, of which 45 have already begun to operate. Of the planned 6.4 billion manat, investments have already been made, totaling 5.7 billion manat.
These enterprises produced products and the amount of one and a half billion manat, of which 300 million manat was sent abroad.
The website Modern.az writes about wheat imports, noting that this industry is the most dependent on imports. In January-July of this year, 653,228 tons of wheat worth 145.789 million US dollars was imported into the country. This is 54, 803 tons more than in the same period last year. Despite the fact that wheat production increased by 7%, this is the weakest position in self-supply. Azerbaijan imports 20% of wheat demand.
The website Demokrat.az is considering the version that the MIG-29 was shot down, discussing this topic with the former President of AZAL Adalat Aliyev. He rejected the version of the collision with a bird flock. There might have been outside interference, or a worn out airplane.
The Yeni Musavat newspaper writes about the problem of the Alatava settlement in the Yasamal district of the capital. At night, the village was flooded with water from the reservoir, causing serious damage.
Affected villagers blame the leadership of Azersu. In this structure, they recognized that a technical malfunction occurred at night, which was resolved.
