Prospects for the military-economic development of Azerbaijan, the Eurasian Union or the Turkic Council, the rejuvenation of death - a decrease in the retirement age, an increase in the number of female crimes in human trafficking, the reasons for the increase in divorce are topics of today's media.

The Yenisabah.az website writes that Russia is intensifying the issue of Azerbaijan's entry into the Eurasian Union and the CSTO in connection with the end of the Karabakh conflict.

Political analysts believe that none of these steps are satisfactory for Azerbaijan. The military alliance of Azerbaijan with Turkey is strengthening and this is the main path. The main countries where Azerbaijan purchases weapons are Turkey, Israel and Belarus. For example, last year Azerbaijan did not buy military equipment from Russia. Political analysts believe that Azerbaijan and Turkey intend to strengthen the Turkic Council, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are interested in this.

The website “Bizimyol.info.az” writes about the rejuvenation of death and the growth of the retirement age. The high rate of early deaths negatively affects life expectancy. According to the author, the situation in this area in Azerbaijan is critical, at the end of 2019, 41% of all deaths occurred under the age of 65, and for women and minors, these indicators differ significantly: in 1990-2005, the proportion of deaths under the age of 65 among men it decreased from 68% to 47%, in 2019 it increased to 50%.

That is, every second man dies before reaching the age of 65. In 1990-2005, the proportion of deaths among women under the age of 65 decreased from 46% to 29%.

Over the 15 years, there were no major changes in this indicator, and in 2019 it was 30%. That is,  of every 100 women who died, only 30 did not reach the age of 65.

In this case, why is the retirement age not reduced, but, on the contrary, raised? Economist Neymyat Aliyev claims that from July 1, 2017 to the end of 2020, the number of pensioners decreased by 96 thousand people. Thus, over the specified period, the government saved over 1 billion manats.

The website “Yeniavaz.com” writes that the crimes related to human trafficking are mainly committed by women. Thus, in 2020, 155 crimes related to human trafficking were registered.

Compared to the same period in 2019, this is 14 facts or 7.5% more. According to the report, all crimes of forced labor have been solved, and 98% of the facts of trafficking, neutralized three criminal groups of 7 people.

Of the 23 wanted 10 people were detained, the necessary measures are being taken to identify and extradite 13 people hiding abroad. 20 people (17 women, 3 men) were involved in criminal cases initiated for the crimes of human trafficking and forced labor.

The site "Modern.az" discusses the reason for the rise in divorce rates. Even married people often get divorced for only two or three months. In January-February 2021, 2,417 divorces were registered, while the number of divorces per 1,000 people was 1.5, the most common reason being treason. Moreover, the number of female infidelities has increased, which they explain as a response to the infidelity of their husbands. Another reason for divorces is conflicts amid strict quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.
