The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about recommendations to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection. In particular, it is recommended not to visit beaches where there are many people.
At the entrances and exits of the beaches there are volunteers of ASAN Xidmət, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs patrols the beaches, the author assures, noting that the sanitary condition of the beaches is satisfactory. He says as if the beaches are closed after filling the limit. On weekends, the attendance of the beaches increases 2-3 times.
The website Bizimyol.info writes about water supply to the Neftchala region. In June, problems began due to a decrease in the water level in the Kura River and the mixing of the Caspian waters with river water.
A survey was carried out in 407 households in Neftchala. Of these, 92% reported problems with drinking water, and 45% with irrigation water.
The majority of respondents (79.6%) stated that the problem had arisen in the last three months.
83.5% of the respondents said that at present they still use drinking water delivered by water carriers, 10% - water from wells.
56% of respondents believe that in order to solve the problem with water, it is necessary to build a new water canal.
The website Musavat.com discusses with experts the issue of possible food shortages. The softening of the quarantine regime from August 5 cannot fully solve the problem of unemployment, and the decline in the global economy may create a food shortage.
At the same time, the softening did not affect catering, tourism, and individual sectors of the economy. The cancellation of SMS permits has created conditions for work in the private construction sector. As in the rest of the world, the pandemic creates certain risks in Azerbaijan and negatively affects production. The price of a number of products on the world market has already increased.
